Wake Up America!

With all the calamities that are affecting this country during recent years, is it not reasonable to ask WHY? Part of our nation is burning up with drought and fires while other parts are receiving so much rain it is flooding and causing mudslides. In the past years we have seen tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, loss of agricultural crops, terrorist threats and attacks such as this nation has never experienced. One has to ask if God has turned His back on us? Has He refused to protect us from all the evil calamities of this natural world?

Since the foundation of this country as a nation of "In God We Trust," we have been abundantly blessed in multiple ways. We have been the mightiest nation on the face of the earth. We and our powerful ways have influenced the entire earth either directly or indirectly. We have been the agricultural center of the world. We produced enough food to feed most of the world. We at one time were the textile center of the world. We clothed most of the world. We made most of the mechanical machines that powered the movement of the world, at one time. Many of the other nations of the world despise America. But we have reached our peak and are in steady decline. WHY?

It began to trickle into our society gradually by first teaching in our schools the theory of evolution, began by Darwin in 1859. Evolution first showed up in textbooks in the early 1960’s. This began to undermine the belief in the bible and God. Next came a very liberal interpretation of the first amendment to excuse all manners of ungodly behavior and acts.

Bill of Rights of the Constitution of United States of America

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

How can the highlighted words above be interpreted to mean "Laws can be interpreted or established to prohibit the free expression of God or his ordinances?" It has been interpreted to mean the exact opposite of what it says. See Below:

Next came the removal of the Ten Commandments from all public property and the forbidding of public prayer in most public places; schools in particular. By all these actions we have managed to remove God from our lives and taught our children to reject God and his teachings or at least ignore them.

If we do not reverse our ways and return to the worship of the one and only living God and keep his commandments and precepts, we will decline as a nation. We will become a minor world power and all of the sicknesses and ailments of the lesser nations will be heaped upon us. The signs of this are already starting to appear in America. The rest of the world does not respect or look up to us as a bastion of relief or help any more. They now curse and try to destroy America. It appears that we have won our last war. We can no longer defeat even the smallest of nations, such as Viet Nam or Iraq.

Let us as a nation, before it is too late, bring back "In God We Trust." Let us once again bring back teaching from the Bible as a textbook in our schools, just as it once was in the beginning of our nation. Let us once again establish the prominent display of the Ten Commandments and other references to a proud heritage of "One Nation Under God."

Deuteronomy 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

People! It is high time for us to demand a reassessment of our High Court decisions concerning our worship of the One True God.
